The
Wolfeboro
Police Department is affiliated with the Great Bay Community
College, Testing Alliance and the New Hampshire Community College
System. Great Bay offers entry level testing for those interested in
law enforcement as a career. Please see Great Bay's web site for
further information.
In addition to written
tests, a prospective candidate must successfully complete polygraph
testing, a thorough background investigation, physical agility
testing, oral interviews and other requirements prior to hiring.
Certification through Police Standards and Training's (fourteen
week) recruit class is required by New Hampshire Statutes.

Seasonal
Employment Opportunity
The Police Department has seasonal openings for non-sworn,
parking control personnel who enforce Town Ordinances. This
is an opportunity for college-aged or older persons to work
in (primarily) the Downtown area. Candidates must have good
communication and human relations skills and be able to
stand for long periods. The position typically runs from
July - Labor Day. Hours can be flexible. Please send resume
